Alana participated in a program called the "Uplevel Your Life Mastery Program," with life and business coach,Christine Kane of UplevelYou, and "Rock Your Success" with business coach, Lauri Rubenstein of Step Into Great, which were helpful for getting clear, setting intentions, and creating a full and rewarding life and business! In June of 2014 she completed a year-long Uplevel Your Business Gold Mastermind program and has had fun creating and implementing new offerings to best serve you, her clients through Skin to Soul Holistic Massage and Wellness. At the beginning of 2013 Alana co-created and led "Women's Empowerment Through Creative Intention," a monthly women's circle that ran for 3 years centered around connecting from the heart, diving deep, living authentically, creatively, and empowered. She now offers customized programs as well as workshops through the local Colorado Mountain College.

Alana was born in Denver, raised in the Roaring Fork Valley since she was eight, and is excited to be back, living in Glenwood Springs, providing massage therapy, yoga, self-care/wellness coaching, and creative empowerment programs and retreats, while promoting holistic wellness for valley residents and visitors. Alana also holds a B.S. in Environmental Studies and a B.S. in Cultural Anthropology from Santa Clara University, spent several years working in the outdoor/environmental education field, leadership, and wilderness therapy, and loves being in the outdoors, traveling abroad, volunteering, and experiencing cultural immersion opportunities. She is passionate about the local and organic food movement and frequents Sustainable Settings, a wonderful beyond-organic farm just 5 miles south of Carbondale on Hwy. 133. You also might spot her in the occasional local West African dance performance, swinging around the dance floor, or out on the ultimate frisbee field! Alana delights in her role as Aunt Alana to her adorable nieces Malina, Amaya, Viviana, and Colette.

Skin to Soul Holistic Massage and Wellness is located in a holistic clinic near downtown Glenwood Springs where the office is shared with chiropractor, Dr. Gail Chapman, acupuncturist, Heather Douglas of Infinite Wellness Acupuncture, Anat Baniel practitioner, Jessi Hastings, and fellow massage therapist, Lizz Arias. We enjoy working together to best serve our clients and patients as a "one stop shop" for holistic health and wellness.

I want to provide a judgment-free zone where my clients can feel comfortable to express their needs and feel like they can get those needs met." -Alana Monge

Client Testimonial

"I've had a wonderful experience combining therapeutic massage with my chiropractic adjustments. I look forward to seeing Alana on a monthly basis and have found that a relaxing massage makes an enormous difference in how great I feel. Alana makes each appointment unique, varying the experience to work on new areas as well as the usual "trouble" spots. I highly recommend trying her for a massage!"  -Amelia S.
